My review of UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2, which was a terrible event until the last two fights.
My preview of UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez, which features a good main event that people are down on and an undercard that is just kind of there.
Samer Kadi joins the Man Cave to preview the final UFC card of the year. We’ll breakdown the big Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez fight and make predictions that will decide the first ever Man Cave Prediction Champion. Then we’ll talk about the rest of the card, which looked really promising when it was first announced, but took some injury hits. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
My review of UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao, an event so bad that it made Calgary fans forget about the Flames.
A preview of UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao, which was an awesome card when first announced, and is now a one fight card thanks to a ton of injuries.
My partner as always Samer Kadi joins the Man Cave to put his reputation on the line as we preview UFC 149. Urijah Faber vs. Renan Barao is a fight that has been on Samer’s radar since it was announced and he’s 100% confident that Faber will stop the Barao bandwagon in its tracks. He’ll breakdown that fight with his usual expertise and I’ll rant about why it’s ok to pick Barao, as long as you’re doing it for the right reasons. Then we’ll preview the rest of the card, which is highlighted by us coming up with a new cheating tactic and nickname for Cheick Kongo.
It was a long Saturday night as the UFC 144 main card was seven fights instead of the usual five. It was all worth it in the end though.
It’s the post-UFC podcast with my unofficial official co-host Samer Kadi. We’ll recap UFC 144 featuring an awesome main event between Ben Henderson and Frankie Edgar, a uninspired performance by Quinton Jackson, and some awesome moments from Hatsu Hioki, Tim Boetsch, and Anthony Pettis. Plus we have the debut of a new segment as we do live commentary during Mark Hunt vs. Cheick Kongo.
There’s a UFC show this weekend, it’s in Japan, and it’s four hours long. We’re in for a great night of fighting or a long night of dullness.
